Racing & Events

We run a racing and events programme throughout the year, covering Round the Island Race, Festival of the Sea, Cowes week and many more of the numerous sailing regattas and happenings staged in the Solent. There are limited places available on the yachts, so if you fancy being in the thick of it as part of a racing crew or getting close to the action as a spectator, this is the one for you.

We race with an experienced core crew and Yachtmaster Skipper who will give you the benefit of their knowledge, whether this is your first time on a racing yacht, or you are looking to improve on your racing skills.

Alternatively take one of out tours into the thick of the event, a Cowes week racing fleet or Portsmouth Naval festival, and get close to the action.

£150 - £250 per day per person depending on event.

The famous annual race round the Isle of Wight with up to 1700 other yachts. This is the largest Yacht race in the world.

COWES WEEK TOUR: 11th - 18th August 2012
Get up close & personal in amongst the racing fleets.

Cowes Week Information

The day starts at 10:00hrs/am with coffee, biscuits and a safety briefing, then your Yachtmaster skipper will introduce you to the basics and in an amazingly short time you will be sailing through the Solent or Southampton Water. After a lunch break ashore we sail close to the racing fleets & soak up the incredible atmosphere cruising into Cowes. Your skipper will point out the many points of interest on route & is on hand to answer any questions you may have. You can choose to take an active part in the sailing or just sit back in the cockpit and relax. All refreshments afloat are included. Returning back to your port of origin by approximately 17:00hrs (05:00pm) with a glass of wine to toast your return.
